How to Clear Your Cache and Cookies in Your Web Browser
Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help improve your browsing experience, solve technical issues, and free up space. Here’s how to clear your cache and cookies on the most popular web browsers.
- Open Chrome.
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Hover over More tools and select Clear browsing data.
- In the dialog box, choose a time range (e.g., Last hour, Last 24 hours, All time).
- Check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Clear data.
- Open the Chrome app.
- Tap the three dots (Android) or ellipsis (iOS) at the top-right corner.
- Select History, then tap Clear browsing data.
- Choose a time range.
- Ensure Cookies, site data and Cached images and files are selected.
- Tap Clear data.
- Open Firefox.
- Click the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
